Blah blah blah

Every time I sit down to write this post I end up stopping, but I'm going to finish it this time!  Anyway, my first week of my second year of college is almost over!  Yay?  Anyway, I basically spent Friday and today, and will most likely spend tomorrow, on my computer either watching anime or reading manga.  Let me hear you say lame!  Not to mention watching Tenchi Muyo! has gotten me in the Ohayocon mood, which isn't for another five months @_@  Oh I wish my hair was purple and super long...but I digress...

I guess this week wasn't too bad.  It was, however, in the running for the most boring week of my life.  There are three things that you can do in Oxford on the weekend, and they are: go partying, which is obviously not an option for me, see a movie, which requires money, or go out to eat, which also requires the exchange of money. This basically leaves me in my room 21 hours a day.  This bothers me for two reasons; one, my butt hurts from all the sitting, and two, I feel so lame!  Whenever my roommate goes out I get to be the weird girl who sits in her room and watches anime all day...

What do you guys think?  I kinda like them, but my taste can be questionable at times.  These mostly caught my attention because they remind me of something Queen Michelle would wear, who writes a blog along with a friend that I read all the time.  You guys should check it out!  Bloggity

Forever21 does it again.

Will you look at these shoes?  Is there anything more fabulous than these?!  NO!

Yes, they are a complete copy of Miu Miu shoes, but who cares!  Forever21 has just taken a lovely style of shoe and made it affordable for average joes like me.

I've also started reading this other blog, and everyone else should too because they are both the most amazing people ever!  I hope my style can be like that one day~~

Not much to report college-wise, besides all of my classes are horrid and somehow I ended up in the same dorm building with a certain group of people I hoped to never see again.

College

I returned to Miami today.  My dorm room isn't too bad, but it's really hot and humid so I'm not looking forward to sleeping.  It's only my first day back, and I can't believe how incredibly depressed I am already.  I almost feel like a different person when I come here.  Since my parents left I've done nothing but study for an exam I have to take tomorrow, which obviously isn't helping my mood.  What's worse, I keep stuffing my face with Raisinets in an attempt to make myself feel better.

I'm forced to give up so much when I come back here.  There's really nothing to do, which means distracting myself from my misery is difficult, I miss all my favorite TV shoes like Cupcake Wars, Futurama, and Bridezillas, I get further away from my friends, and eating becomes a chore that requires almost as much of my brain power as homework.

What a great start to the year.

Valley Thrift is love~

Today was awesome!  Me, Allison, and Dad all went to The Root Beer Stand for lunch.  I got a footlong chilly dog with cheese and a cherry coke!  I forced myself not to finish the chilly dog, even though I could have, haha!  Afterwards we went to this place called the Grand Antique Mall, but most of the stuff was too expensive to even consider buying.  There was a taxidermied polar bear for $12,000!!  Who would buy that?!?!?!  Anyway...

That was a bust, but on the way back home we pasted a thrift store called Valley Thrift Store so I made my dad pull over~  It was the best!  It was gigantic!  And everything was SO CHEAP!  I ended up buying four pairs of shoes, which means I have a problem 8D;;  But total they only cost $14!  I just couldn't pass them up~

This is everything we got.  The two sweaters on the left are my dad's.

I love these ones!  They have a neat heel and are pointy~~

The last pair are Allison's.  The boots are apparently Cole Haan's, which turns out to be an expensive brand.  She got them for only $3!  That was probably the best deal of the day.  I think that thrift store made it on to my list of stores to frequent every month or so~

Yes, I'm going to be lame and post pictures of myself.  But I have an excuse!  I got a haircut :D  It's the shortest I think I've had it for a while, but I like it~

I'm back!

Hey everyone! I got back from Michigan last night, and I started the depressing job of picking out clothes to take with me to Miami ;_; Anyway, my grandparents mall must have the BIGGEST FOREVER21 EVER!!

No joke.

This thing was so big I was getting welts in my arms from trying to carry so many hangers! And the weird thing? All I got was a pair of socks >>;; But they're super cute and go up almost to my knees. I almost got this pair of shoes, and I'm still kinda debating them from the website. Which pair do you guys like better?

I want a pair of shoes that I can just put on everyone morning that goes with any outfit. The one thing that I really lack to wear is shoes.

I ended up with some really cute clothes from Forever21, American Eagle, and H&M (no, it's not as much stuff as that makes it sound >>;;) I got this awesome purple cardigan from Forever21 that has black glasses printed all over it and a bow pin! Then I got a plain v-neck hunter green shirt and this other, white v-neck shirt that has lots of pretty gems on it! Not to mention they were super cheap (hehe ;D). Then I got some workout shorts and normal black shorts from American Eagle, which were also both on sale! Not to mention I've been looking for black short for FOREVER! Finally, me and Allison got a red dress with white polka-dots and a giant black bow for a belt. It's adorable and reminds me of Mini Mouse! Oh, I forgot to mention this black and blue sweater I got from Forever21. It was pretty cheap, and has this little girl on it creating a complicated formula that proves she isn't a nerd. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! <3

I'll try to post a picture of some of this stuff tomorrow~~ I'm also getting my hair cut tomorrow, so you guys can see what it looks like!

Newbie

I still haven't gotten the hang of this blog thing, so my paper looks absolutely horrendous! But it'll have to stay this way until I can figure out the background and header... TT^TT

Anyway...I'm sitting up at the front desk for work with five hours left so I thought I'd do something to pass the time. After work today me, Allison, Corey, and Dad are all heading to Michigan! The mall by my grandparents house has a Forever21, which is my favorite store~~ Not to mention they recently remodeled it, AND MADE IT HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! So I can't wait to see it!

So I'll see everyone in a few days! My grandparents don't have internet, which means I'll be out of touch until Monday. And if anyone has any tips for making my blog better, TELL ME!!
